Three of my grandsons visited last week-end and we did jam on toast on the back veranda. Yummy strawberry jam that nana made. Then off to play with the water pistols.
Today Michael and I decided to make some cakes,so we made some insect cupcakes, with some flowers for them to hide in. Michael ate most of them, so we only have these ones left.
Dennis and I decided we needed an Off Roader Caravan, so we traded last month and this is our new Van. Made to order, big fridge and freezer to fill with seafood we catch, muddy's and snapper from up north. Nice comfy queen bed, for reading and nana napping. Nice big kitchen for my kitchen bitch ( Dennis). So now we can go anywhere in Australia, we can get up close and friendly with the croc's up the north end also. We will probably head off next year in March.
Rocky Road Peanut brittle slice, tastes good too. Plum Puddin Truffles, delicious. Lemon Shortbread biscuits, all ready to be posted to smelly relly's and friends.
Started my day by bogging my Patchwork room out, and found all my strips of fabric from all the quilts I have ever made, so this will be come a quilt one of these years.
Then did a bit of gardening and collected some seed pods.
Then finished off my duffle/swag bag ready for the next retreat. So I had a great day.
I am married with three grown kids, I have 5 grandson, and 6 chooks. Dennis and I travel most of winter, in our off road caravan, we go north where it is sunny, and warm. I love sewing of any description, except mending. I also love a challenge.
